Dindigul: In Dindigul, for the Diwali festival, 100 policemen, comprising law enforcement, traffic, and city crime prevention officers, will be deployed for security duties in the city areas. The operation is being overseen by District Superintendent of Police, Dindigul Mr. Bhaskaran, and led by DSP Mr. Gokulakrishnan. Enhanced security measures have been put in place at key locations where people congregate to purchase new clothes. Vigilance has been heightened in areas such as Main Road, Corporation Office Road, and East Road, with plainclothes officers actively involved in security operations.
