Vizianagaram: The newly constructed 2nd Urban Police Station building in Vizianagaram town was inaugurated by State Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pamula Pushpa Srivani, and State DGP Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS on February 14.
State Deputy Chief Minister Mrs. Pamula Pushpa Srivani said that the state police department has been recognized as an ideal police force for its protection and safety of women and has received many awards.
State DGP Shri Gautam Sawang, IPS, said, “We want to work with a sense of service to do justice to the socially, economically, and physically backward poor, the downtrodden, and the weaker sections.”
Visakha Range IGP Mr. LKV was present on the occasion. Mr. Rangarao, IPS, Collector Mrs. A. Surya Kumari, District SP Mrs. M. Deepika, IPS, ZP Chairman Mr. Majji Srinivasa Rao, MP Mr. B. Chandra Shekhar, MLA Mr. Raghu Verma, Mr. Raghuraju Garu, MLA Mr. K. Veerabhadra Swamy Garu, Mayor Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, other public representatives, Additional SP Mr. P. Satyanarayana Garu, OND Mr. N. Suryachandra Rao, Additional SP Mr. Anil Pulipati, and other police officers and staff were present.
