Rachakonda: According to the instructions of Mr. M Mahender Reddy IPS DGP, Telangana State, Hyderabad, the officers of Centre of Excellence conducted a random survey in Telangana State with regard to the handling of telephone calls by Police officers and staff at all levels to study how far the Standard Operating Procedure is being followed by the Police Officers while attending to the telephone calls at the police stations of different units of Telangana State. Calls have been made to the official landline numbers and cell phone numbers of Functional Vertical Officers. The callers initially did not disclose their identity and recorded their responses in terms of their following of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) prescribed while attending to the calls. The percentage of partially following SOP in Rachakonda is 68.57 and stands first.
In this regard on 16-09-2020 at 1200 hours, Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. G.Sudhir Babu IPS, Addl.C.P Rachakonda conducted a meeting through video conference with all officers and staff of Rachakonda, sensitized them about the SOP and a target was set up to achieve 100 percent.
