The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy launched AP Police Seva App

Andhra Pradesh: For the first time in the country, the Andhra Pradesh Police Department has created a new App. connecting all the police stations in the state, the ‘AP Police Service’ App has been specially made available to the public to avail 87 types of services without the need to go to the station.

The Andhra Pradesh Police has introduced the mobile AP Police Seva App through which citizens can access 87 Police Services via 964 Police Stations thus bringing transparency and customer service to policing.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr.Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy accompanied by the DGP of Andhra Pradesh Mr.Gautam Sawang IPS and other officers launched the AP Police Seva App which would enable registration of complaints online and monitor the follow-up action which is in tune with the friendly policing concept and to instill confidence among the people.

The Citizens can apply for Missing/Lost Items & Documents, Fresh / Renewal Licenses, & NOCs through this mobile application without going to Meeseva centers & Police Stations. Services like FIR status, recovered property search, Vehicle History, arrested person search, etc., will bring about unprecedented transparency & accountability in police functioning.

All services related to online reporting of Crime, Safety, Security, and Services offered by the Police Department are being provided on a single integrated platform. AP Police Seva App is in line with the Government’s vision to take government and governance closer to the people, to their doorstep.

The Andhra Pradesh Police has thanked the people for the immense response on the ‘AP Police Seva App‘. The app link shall be shared shortly. Please keep an eye out to download it. Andhra Pradesh is the first state in the country to provide 87 services to the citizens in the comfort and safety of their houses, ushering in a new age of citizen-centric policing w/ Police as a Service rather than a Force.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with around 1000 police stations through Webinar on the occasion of the ‘AP Police Seva App’ launch.

The intension of the launch of the AP Police Seva App is to promote no-contact complaints and to give real-time updates to the citizens. Over 950 + police stations have integrated with the Police Seva App and 87 citizen services are being provided through it.
