Ramanathapuram: Acting on a tip off a Coastal Security Guard team rounded up N Feroz Khan (38), with the sea cucumbers packed in gunny bags for transporting to his house, while he was waiting at the seashore, police said today. Police said, Feroz during investigation confessed to the police that he had procured the sea cucumbers from local fishermen at the behest of smugglers. After processing the marine species, they planned to smuggle it to Sri Lanka clandestinely in a boat. Police added, Feroze was handed over to the Forest Department for further action. ]]>
