Hyderabad: On 23.08.2021, Elevator, Vidya Vedika, and Reception opening ceremony was held at City Police Training Centre, Hyderabad. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, Mrs. Shikha Goel, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Crimes, and SIT, Mr. Anil Kumar, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad City Mr. D.S. Chauhan, IPS, Addl. CP, L&O and CAR Headquarters Hyderabad, Mr. Maddipati Srinivas Rao, Principal/Addl.DCP, Mr. D.V. Pradeep Kumar Reddy, Vice-Principal/ACP, other Officers and staff of CTC, Petlaburj, Hyderabad.
Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS, CP, Hyderabad City, has addressed the entire staff members of CPTC Hyderabad and expressed the way how CPTC Hyderabad has emerged as the best training center in the southern part of India for the year 2019-2020. The quality of training, outstanding teaching faculty for Indoor and Outdoor, maintenance of hygiene and a nice ambiance, Welfare activities of the officers and staff, High standards of the administration by Principal, Vice-Principal has paid rich dividends with the declaration of Union Home Ministers Trophy for best police training institution in India for the year 2019-20.
The City Police Training Centre, Hyderabad is the backbone which is delivering quality training to the In-service police personnel, newly recruited men and women Police personnel, and teaching the day to day effective policing activities for improving the professional skills to all the police personnel of Hyderabad city in order to maintain Law and Order. The CPTC, Hyderabad also has taken up Civil Defense courses for Volunteers of Hyderabad city to create awareness and their involvement in any natural calamity situations.
Hyderabad City Police has set up a training Centre at Falaknuma in the year 2005 wherein refresher courses for in-service police personnel have been imparted. In December 2008, an ad-hoc training center was sanctioned to City Police for imparting basic induction training to SCTPCs, which has been housed at Old CAR Headquarters building at Petlaburj, Hyderabad. In Aug 2019, CPTC, Hyderabad has been shifted to the new building opposite City College, Hyderabad.
Special mention should be made of the Officers and staff of the CPTC, who have exhibited exceptional and unprecedented levels of sincerity, dedication, hard work amid the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Appreciating the best efforts of Principal, Vice Principal and other Officers and staff for installing the Elevator, Vidya Vedika and Reception at CPTC Hyderabad and also instructed to concentrate on conducting multiple training courses to all the ranks of City Police.
