East Godavari: On 1.12.2021 at 11.48 pm a woman named B. Lalitha from Pithapuram Town Chitrada called the police control room and said that she had reached Kakinada by passenger train from Gudivada.
On arrival, she informed her daughter and on the advice of her daughter, she called the Tugo District “Woman Drop at Home” control room number and immediately sought help. The “Woman Drop at Home” vehicle reached the RTC Complex and dropped the woman off safely at her home in Chitrada.
The woman extended special thanks to the Kakinada Division Night Rounds Officer who worked hard to get her safely to her destination, to the control room staff who responded immediately, and to District SP Mr. M. Rabindranath Babu, IPS who designed the event.
