Almora: Under the direction of SSP Almora, Almora police took action against illegal drug dealers, Danya police arrested a person with 15 boxes of illegal liquor.
As soon as Dr. Manjunath TC SSP Almora assumed the charge, all the police station/outpost in-charges and SOGs have been instructed to take strict action against the illegal drug dealers. In compliance with which action is being taken by Almora Police.
On 19.12.2021, during joint checking operation by SOG Almora and Danya police, 15 boxes of illicit liquor, country/foreign which is priced at Rs.62880/- has been recovered from the Dhaba under Naugaon police station Danya district Almora, The accused Bhupal Singh son Bache Singh was arrested near Chalnichina. Necessary action was taken after arresting from the spot.
In this regard, SHO Danya Shri Sushil Kumar said that the accused was engaged in the illegal business of serving liquor in his Dhaba, on information, the accused has been arrested by the police team after taking prompt action.
The police team who were involved in the operation are SHO Danya Mr. Sushil Kumar, K0 Mr. Arvind Kumar. K0 Mr. Surendra Singh, K0 Mr. Prem Kumar, Co. Mr. Dinesh Nagarkoti (SOG), K0 Mr. Rajesh Bhatt(SOG), Co.Mr. Deepak Khanka(SOG). The police team has done wonderful work while completing the operation.
