Almora: On 20.12.2021, Vadini Laxmi Tamta daughter of Late Shri Basant Lal Tamta resident Dharmi Mohalla Police Station, Almora, stole from her house on the night of 19.12.2021 by an unknown person; 17 new saris, 03 piece blouse cloth with a suitcase and cash of Rs.4176.00 A complaint was lodged in Kotwali Almora regarding theft and the total value of valuables is Rs.15000/-.
On the basis of Tahrir, after registering a case in Kotwali Almora, the investigation was started by forming a police team under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Sanjay Joshi-in charge of outpost Dharanaula.
On the basis of strict clues and CCTV footage by the police team, accused Awadhesh Kumar Tamta, 22 years of age, son Rajesh Kumar Tamta, resident of Dharma Mohalla Almora, was arrested on 21.12.2021. Necessary action was taken after recovery.
The police team involved in the exercise was Mr. Sanjay Joshi, in Incharge of Outpost Dharanaula, Mr. Khushal Ram, Mr. Himanshu.
