Kashmir: Cyber police seize smartphones worth lakhs of rupees handed over to real owners in Kashmir zone, Srinagar.
Cyber Police Kashmir has identified 73 missing/lost smartphones of various manufacturing and models worth millions of rupees with the continuous efforts of its dedicated technical teams. These trace-out smartphones were handed over to the real owners today at the Cyber Police Station Headquarters Srinagar.
In addition, victims of cyber scams saved Rs.4.20 lakh lost through various online scams through the Kashmir Cyber Police Station Financial Desk yesterday. Cyber Police have a strong mechanism in Kashmir to assist citizens in coping with various technical challenges in daily life.
Kashmir Zone, Srinagar Under the supervision of the Inspector General of Police, the Cyber Police Kashmir Zone is constantly conducting various awareness campaigns and programs through various platforms to create awareness among the general public about various contemporary online scams. Cyber police Kashmir has once again advised the general public not to share bank details, account details, personal details, OTP, etc. with anyone. The complainants thanked the cyber police for recovering and restoring their lost mobile phones.
