Rachakonda: The Rachakonda police zeroed sensational murder case occurred under Jawaharagar Police Station limits and arrested 4 Interstate hired killers along with prime accused Srikanth Reddy and seized hunting sickles and Knives, one car and a two wheeler vehicle.
On 16.7.2022 at 00:30 hours the complainant, Mrs. Ambati Swarana Latha W/o Raghupathi alias Raghu, age: 41 years, House wife, R/o H No. 10 28/203/1/1. Seetharam Nagar, Cutting Colony, Chakripuram, Kapra Mandal, Medchal District had approached the police station and lodged a petition by stating that the accused persons Srikanth Reddy, Rajesh alias Raju and other persons brutally murdered her husband Ambati Raghupathi with hunting sickles on 15.7.2022 at 8:30 PM at back side of NVR wines, Shiva Nagar, Dammaiguda due to previous enmity. A case was registered at Jawaharnagar Police Station, Rachakonda.
The accused persons were identified as Surakanti Srikanth Reddy(33) S/o Late Janga Reddy of Medchal District; E Manjunadh(45) S/o Eswara of Shimoga District, Karnataka; Mohammad Sadiq alias Rahad(24) S/o Mohammad Anwar of Karnataka State; Ismail(20) S/o Krustum Sab of Karnataka state; Sameer Khan alias Saik(23) S/o Hakiqkullah of Karnataka state; Kavadi Rajesh alias Raju(29) S/o Narasimha of Medchal District.
As the sensation murder took place, immediately Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat. IPS, Commissioner of Police formed special teams with Jawaharnagar Police and SOT Malkajgiri to detect and to apprehend the accused persons. The teams worked hard examined many witnesses, collected CCTV footages and other technical data and finally succeeded in arresting the prime accused Srikanth Reddy and 5 other accused persons including three hired killers from the farm land of Srikanth Reddy at Rangapuram. Bommala Ramaram mandal yesterday evening on 19.7.2022 at 1800 hours.
Reasons behind the Murder:
In the year of 2009 the Deceased Raghupathi and other persons killed one Janga Reddy who was the father of Al. Srikanth Reddy as Raghupathi bored grudge against Jangareddy as he insulted him in publicly. This caused a great pain to Srikanth Reddy’s family and since then he raised with grudge over the deceased and waiting for an opportunity to kill the deceased, to achieve it, the accused Srikanth Reddy took the help of his father’s close aid Manjunad who after the murder of Janga Reddy settled in Shimoga of Kamataka, Using his relations there, he consulted one Rizwan and others offered 30 lakhs to eliminate Raghupathi. In turn Rizwan engaged his other friends Hadith. Mohammad Sadiq alias Rahad Ismail, Sameer Khan, Sumith, Netha. Once the Killer team was ready, Srikath Reddy provided shelter to them at his apartment within the limits of Rao Nagar Police Station Dammaiguda and conducted couple of times reccee at deceased residence and other places and were waiting for the right time. On 15.7.2022, since morning they were following the deceased, at 20:30 hours they got a chance, the deceased along with his friends Prasad, Babu and Ramanujan went to look at a plot near Shiva Nagar, Dammaiguda and while returning, the accused attacked over the deceased with hunting sickles. Due to which the deceased received acute injuries on his head and died on the spot, in their attack. Prasad had also received serious injuries on his left cheek.
After committing the murder all the accused flew from the spot, they left the two-wheeler near Srikanth Reddy’s house and crossed the state boarder in two cars, they threw the hunting sickles and knives in bushes, besides Chitram Balare Vichitram Studio towards Kesara to Ghatkesar Service ORR road while on journey Srikanth Reddy handed over the contract money of Rs.30 lakhs to Rizwan and he shared the money to his gang.
The police seized Hunting Sickles-04, Hunting knives-03, Swift Car Bearing registration Number TS08HR5512, Jupiter two wheeler-Br.No. TS 02 EW3184(used Fake Number Plate) – Original Bearing No. TS 08 EP0011) from the possession of accused.
The above arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat. IPS.. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. G. Sudheer Babu, Addl. Commissioner of Police and by Ms. Rakshitha K Murthy, IPS. Deputy Commissioner of Police. Malkajgiri Zone, Mr. K. Muralidar, DCP SOT Rachakonda, Ms. Sadhana Rashmi Perumal IPS, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Kushaiguda Division. Mr. Venkanna Naik, ACP SOT Rachakonda, Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar, Inspector of Police. Jawahanagar Police Station, Mr. M Madhu Kumar. DI of Jawaharnagar Police Station Mr. P Guruva Reddy. Dl of Kushaiguda Police Station, Mr. Ashok Reddy, Inspector SOT Malkajgiri Zone and his team. Mr. D.Mohan. Sl. Mr. B V Kousheek. St. Mr. P Shiva Naga Prasad. Sl and teams of Jawaharagar Police Station and the efforts are being continued to apprehend the other absconding accused. The Commissioner of Police Rachakonda appreciated with suitable reward for this good work.
