Tiruvallur: In Tiruvallur District, Meenjur, on 4th – Vinayagar Chaturthi, the idols of Ganesha placed on Vinayagar Chaturthi are to be dissolved in the sea, so the officers of Meenjur Police Station conducted a flag team march on behalf of the police to prevent any untoward incident during the Vinayagar procession.
Sengunram Assistant Commissioner Mr. Murugesan, under the leadership of Meenjur Police Station Inspector Mr. Chiranjeevi, and Assistant Inspector Mr. Velumani marched and the Flag March was conducted in Meenjur Bazar Road and Arian Gate, a predominantly Muslim area.
