Thoothukudi: On 7.9.2022, on the occasion of the visit of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu who is scheduled to visit Thoothukudi district, South Zone Police Chief Mr. Azra Garg IPS visited in person and inspected the security arrangements. The Chief of Police, Southern Region also reviewed the security arrangements on major roads in the surrounding areas of the airport.
During this inspection, Deputy Commissioner of Madurai Police, Mrs. Ponni IPS., Tuticorin District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS, Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police Mr. Saravanan IPS., Tuticorin Rural Utkota Police Assistant Superintendent Mr. Sandish IPS., Airport Police Inspector Mrs. Umadevi, Thoothukudi Traffic Division Police Inspector Mr. Mayilerumperumal and District Divisional Police Inspector Mr. Pachimuthu were present.
