On June 7, 2023, at 10:16 am, the Hyderabad Traffic Police organized a Green Channel for the transportation of the live organ (heart) from Yashoda Hospital in Malakpet to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills.
The distance between Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet, Hyderabad, and Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, is 13.46 kilometers, which was covered in 21 minutes. The medical team, carrying the live organ (heart), departed from Yashoda Hospital at 10:16 am and arrived at Apollo Hospital at 10:37 am.
The efforts of the Hyderabad Traffic Police in facilitating the transportation of the live organ (heart) were highly praised by the managements of Yashoda Hospital and Apollo Hospital, as it would potentially save a valuable life. In 2023, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has facilitated organ transport on seven occasions, demonstrating their dedication to the well-being of our citizens.
