Hyderabad: On the 19th of October 2023, based on credible information, the teams from SOT, L.B. Nagar Zone, and Chaitanyapuri Police Station intercepted a four-wheeler with registration number TS 08 UG 7620 near Omni Hospital, Kothapet, within the jurisdiction of Chaitanyapuri Police Station. They apprehended an individual and upon conducting a search, discovered a substantial amount of cash in their possession. Upon investigation, it was determined that they were transporting this significant sum without obtaining the necessary permission from the ECI, and were unable to provide specific details regarding the cash. Consequently, the cash, totaling Rs.97,16,865/-, was promptly seized in the presence of mediators. Further action is being taken by Chaitanyapuri Police Station.
