New Delhi, May 15, 2025: In a significant stride toward enhancing eye care within the Armed Forces, a state-of-the-art Femto-LASIK Suite was inaugurated at the Army Hospital (Research and Referral), Delhi Cantt. The suite was formally inaugurated by Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), along with Lt Gen Sadhna S Nair, Director General, Medical Services (Army).
This cutting-edge facility introduces advanced customized laser treatment for spectacle removal, specifically designed for young and middle-aged adult patients. The technology allows for greater precision in treating borderline cases of refractive errors and various corneal conditions, significantly enhancing visual outcomes.
The inauguration of the Femto-LASIK Suite marks a major milestone in the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to world-class healthcare, technological innovation, and patient-centric service.
