Rachakonda, Telangana, May 15, 2025: In an effort to empower citizens and enhance public safety, She Team Kushaiguda conducted a comprehensive awareness programme today at the ECIL Bus Stand within the limits of Kushaiguda Police Station. The campaign was carried out using a LED Display Vehicle to reach a wider audience.
The team educated the public on a range of critical issues, including the role and services of She Teams; Real-life case studies; Human trafficking, child marriages, and child abuse; Importance of Childline 1098; Good touch and bad touch awareness for children; Gender sensitization; Cybercrime offences, including fraud via loan apps; and use of the T-Safe app and CCTV surveillance.
Citizens were urged to contact the police through Dial 100 in case of emergencies and were also informed about the Rachakonda WhatsApp Helpline: 8712662111 for non-emergency assistance and support.
The initiative reflects the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate’s commitment to proactive policing, community engagement, and safeguarding vulnerable sections of society, especially women and children.
