Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, June 2025 – In a proactive operation, the Mathur Police of Krishnagiri district intercepted and seized a vehicle illegally transporting soil without proper authorization.
While conducting routine vehicle inspection near the E. Ettipatti division road, police officers flagged down a suspicious vehicle. The driver, upon seeing the police, abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. On inspection, the vehicle was found to be carrying three units of soil without valid permits.
The Mathur Police swiftly seized the vehicle and registered a case under relevant legal provisions. Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the absconding driver.
This decisive action highlights the Krishnagiri Police’s commitment to environmental protection and enforcement of mineral transport regulations.
