Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, June 26: In a proactive move to combat drug abuse, the Tirunelveli City Police, under the guidance of City Police Commissioner Santosh Hathimani, I.P.S., organized an awareness rally and pledge ceremony on the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
As part of the initiative, police officers have been actively engaging with students across schools and colleges within city limits to educate them about the harmful effects of drug use. Continuing these efforts, City Prohibition Police Inspector Indira led a public awareness rally and administered a pledge to students and citizens, reinforcing the commitment to build a drug-free society.
