Khowai, Tripura, July 8: In a significant move to strengthen grassroots policing, Director General of Police, Tripura, Shri Anurag, IPS, visited Khowai district and held a comprehensive review meeting focused on crime control, investigation procedures, law and order, and other core policing functions.
During his visit, the DGP also inspected the headquarters of the 6th Battalion (IR-II) and 12th Battalion (IR-VIII) of Tripura State Rifles (TSR), where he interacted with officers and jawans. His engagement with the personnel served to boost morale and reinforce the department’s commitment to operational excellence and public service.
The visit reflects the state police leadership’s proactive approach towards ensuring law and order, while fostering coordination and motivation within the force.
