Kannur Rural, Kerala: In a decisive blow to drug trafficking, the Taliparamba Police, in a joint operation with the Anti-Drug Squad Dancef Team, arrested two individuals for possession of cannabis and MDMA intended for sale.
The accused, Sajesh Mathew (28) of Ammanappara and Bipin Babu (27) of Pariyaram St. Mary’s Nagar, were intercepted in a car carrying 1.397 kg of cannabis and 2.181 g of MDMA. Both men are already facing charges in previous drug-related cases.
The operation was carried out under the leadership of Kannur Rural SP Mr. Anuj Paliwal IPS and Principal SI Dinesan Kotheri, on the instructions of Taliparamba IP Babumon.
Police reaffirmed their commitment to continuing aggressive action against drug peddlers to ensure a safe and drug-free community.
