Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: Giving top priority to women’s safety, Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police, Sri K. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, has directed all police stations in the district to actively promote awareness under the special program “Nari Shakti.”
As part of this initiative, police teams across villages and towns are educating women on various important issues, including personal safety, the use and benefits of safety measures, prevention of harassment through social media, awareness on cyber frauds, and steps to curb child marriages.
The program aims to empower women with knowledge, build confidence, and ensure that safety remains a shared responsibility within communities.
Through “Nari Shakti,” Srikakulam Police reaffirm their commitment to protecting women and fostering a safe and secure environment for all.
