Ernakulam Rural, Kerala: The spirit of Onam Peruma 2025 was celebrated with joy and grandeur at the Rural District Police Headquarters. The festivities were inaugurated by District Police Chief M. Hemalatha, IPS, in the presence of dignitaries and police personnel.
The event was graced by DFO P. Karthik, IFS, CISF Deputy Commandant Suresh Kumar, Additional SP M. Krishnan, ASP Hardik Meena, IPS, and DySPs T. M. Varghese, T. R. Rajesh, P. M. Baiju, S. Jayakrishnan, and Bijoy Chandran. Rural District President Anil T. Mappilil, along with V. R. Sunil, Vinod Mathew, K. K. Girish Kumar, Shyju Palatty, and others also joined the celebrations.
The programme featured a colorful Onam procession, traditional cultural performances by officers and their family members, and a spirited tug-of-war competition, showcasing unity and festive enthusiasm within the police fraternity.
The celebration reflected the strong bond between the police force, their families, and the community, bringing together tradition, culture, and camaraderie.
