Kasaragod, Kerala: To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety in Kasaragod district during the Sri Krishna Jayanti procession, the Kanhangad Police have announced special traffic regulations effective from 1 pm today.
* Light vehicles: From Puthiyakotta to Iqbal Junction, vehicles should proceed on the western side of the State Highway as two-way.
* Heavy vehicles: From Kasaragod side, proceed via NH Road from Kalanad.
* From Nileshwaram side, proceed via NH Road from Kanhangad South.
Additionally, parking on roadsides is strictly prohibited during the event.
The Kanhangad Police request the cooperation of the public and motorists to ensure the peaceful and safe conduct of the procession.
