Kasaragod, Kerala: In a major breakthrough against financial fraud, the Hosdurg Police have arrested a man accused of cheating several youths by promising foreign jobs and visas. The accused, Gautham Krishna P.B. (25), a native of Ashtamichira in Thrissur, was taken into custody from Bengaluru after he defrauded nearly ₹60 lakh from around 30 people across Kerala by offering false promises of employment in Germany.
The swift action came following complaints filed by the victims, who had been misled with excuses after paying large sums of money. Acting under the direct instructions of District Police Chief B.V. Vijaya Bharat Reddy, IPS, a special team led by Kanhangad DySP Sunil Kumar C.K., along with Hosdurg Inspector P. Ajith Kumar, ASI Anandakrishnan, SCPOs Saneesh Kumar, Kamal Kumar, Jyotish, and cyber experts SCPO Anil K.T. and CPO Ramith, successfully tracked and arrested the fraudster.
This operation highlights the commitment and expertise of Kasaragod Police in protecting the public from financial crimes and ensuring justice for the victims.
