Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, October 2025: In a proactive effort to curb illegal liquor smuggling, Mr. S. Jayakumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District, conducted a surprise raid at the Alphaddai check post.
The inspection was carried out with the support of fast-moving patrol vehicles, ensuring strict monitoring of vehicles entering and exiting the district. The operation aimed to strengthen enforcement against liquor smuggling and maintain law and order during the festive season.
