Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, October 12, 2025: As part of the ‘Arakash Gelathi’ initiative, the PSI of Women’s Police Station, Chikkamagaluru, visited the post-matric girls’ hostel in Ramanahalli and interacted with the students to address their grievances and concerns.
During the visit, the PSI inspected the hostel premises in the presence of the hostel warden and staff and conducted an awareness session on key issues such as cybercrimes, traffic safety, and the harmful effects of drugs, the POCSO Act, and the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.
The session aimed to empower young women with essential knowledge on personal safety, legal rights, and responsible digital behavior, reinforcing the police’s commitment to women’s welfare and community engagement.
