Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh: Continuing its firm crackdown on narcotics, the Ratlam District Police arrested four individuals for their involvement in the smuggling of the synthetic drug MDMA. Acting on a tip-off, the police seized 15 grams of MDMA worth ₹1.5 lakh, along with two vehicles used in the offence.
Under the instructions of Superintendent of Police Mr. Amit Kumar, and the supervision of Additional SP (Rural) Mr. Vivek Kumar Lal and SDOP, Jaora, Mr. Sandeep Malviya, the operation was executed by Inspector Prakash Gadaria, Station In-charge of Pipaluda, and Sub-Inspector Raju Makhod, Outpost In-charge of Sukheda, along with their team.
On October 15, the police intercepted the accused at the bus stand on Jaora Road, village Sukheda, and apprehended:
Kuldeep alias Ramprasad (27), resident of Revas, Jaora
Rudraksh (20), resident of Mahesh Nagar, Ratlam
Sagar (23), resident of Mahesh Nagar, Ratlam
Aman Mir (23), resident of Rehmat Nagar, Ratlam
A case has been registered against them under relevant sections of the NDPS Act at the Pipaluda Police Station, and further investigation is in progress to uncover the supply chain and other associates involved in the illegal drug trade.
