Rachakonda, Telangana, November 3: Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, felicitated Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Rural Circle Inspector Sri Chandrababu Nagari at the Rachakonda Police Commissioner’s Office, Neredmet, for being conferred with the prestigious Union Home Minister’s Dakshata Pathak Award for 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner congratulated CI Chandrababu for bringing laurels to the Rachakonda Commissionerate and urged all officers to continue their dedicated service and strive for more such national-level recognitions in the future.
The Dakshata Pathak Awards, instituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, were announced on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti (31.10.2025) to recognize excellence and efficiency among police officers across the country. The award includes four categories — Special Operations, Investigation, Intelligence, and Forensic Science — which were earlier presented separately as individual medals. In February 2024, these were consolidated into a single prestigious national award.
This year, a total of 1,466 police officers from various states and ranks — from Inspector General to Constable — were honored for their exceptional performance. Among them, officers from Telangana Police include:
Chandrababu Nagari, CI, Bhuvanagiri Rural, Rachakonda
Upender Rao Jala, Inspector, Cyberabad
Tirupati Vasala, Inspector, CI Cell
Additionally, two Head Constables from the Special Operations Division — A. Laxman Rao and G. Jacob — were also selected for this distinction for their outstanding service in investigation and operational excellence.
The Commissioner lauded their achievements, emphasizing that such recognition reflect the dedication and professionalism of Telangana Police officers and motivate the entire force toward higher standards of performance.
