Hyderabad City, Telangana: In line with the visionary leadership of Sri V. C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, a one-day training initiative titled “Oka Goppa Marpuku Ide Srikaram (OGMIS)” was successfully organized for all ranks of the Hyderabad City Police.
As directed by the Commissioner of Police, the North Zone, Traffic–1 personnel underwent the training from 24-11-2025 to 03-12-2025, under the supervision of Sri Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Sri Rahul Hegde, IPS, DCP Traffic-1, and Sri C. Venu Gopal, Addl. DCP Traffic-1, North District.
A total of 452 personnel — including Inspectors, SIs, ASIs, Head Constables, Police Constables, Women Police personnel, and Home Guards — successfully completed the nine-day program. The curriculum, conceptualized by the Commissioner of Police, was delivered by a highly experienced faculty. The program was conducted smoothly with excellent hospitality and hygienic food arrangements, ensuring a productive learning environment.
Personnel who displayed outstanding performance during the training were recognized and awarded as per protocol.
The program was held at Hero Park near Traffic Police Station, Begumpet, where Hero Motors facilitated a road-safety module and presented prizes to the top achievers.
With the successful completion of the OGMIS training, North Zone Traffic-1 officers and staff have renewed their commitment to public service with enhanced professionalism, motivation, and a citizen-friendly approach, further strengthening the image of the Hyderabad City Police as a proactive and service-oriented force.
