Rachakonda, Telangana: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu personally inspected the preparations for the much-anticipated Messi Friendly Football Match scheduled to be held on December 13 at Uppal Stadium. He was accompanied by Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Additional DG Vijay Kumar, and Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Sudheer Babu.
Speaking to the media after the inspection, the Deputy Chief Minister said that elaborate arrangements are being made, as thousands of football fans from across the country are expected to attend the match featuring global football icon Lionel Messi.
He appealed to spectators to reach the stadium well before the scheduled time, considering the large turnout and the need to ensure seamless security, smooth entry, and overall comfort.
Officials briefed the Deputy CM on the comprehensive facilities being set up for sports fans, including crowd management systems, security measures, seating arrangements, and emergency response readiness.
Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, senior police officers, and Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) officials detailed the ongoing preparations at the stadium. The Deputy CM also conducted a special inspection of:
* All entry and exit routes for the match
* VIP movement routes for the Chief Minister, ministers, and dignitaries
* Parking arrangements
* Gate management for fans
* Transport facilities coordinated by Metro Rail, RTC, and other agencies
He inquired about the total expected footfall and the number of gates being arranged to facilitate hassle-free movement for attendees.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience for all football fans attending the historic event.
