Hyderabad, Telangana: The Mangalhat Police have achieved a significant breakthrough by arresting Upadi Bolenath alias U. Bholanath (42) and Mohammed Khadeer alias Khader (26) in connection with Crime No. 371/2025 under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The police successfully recovered a gold chain weighing 2 tolas, valued at ₹2.48 lakh, from the accused.
Both individuals are habitual offenders with an extensive criminal history. Upadi Bolenath is involved in 70 cases, while Mohammed Khadeer is involved in 66 cases registered across the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Commissionerates. During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in 11 recent cases, with one additional case at Attapur also coming to light.
The arrests were made following meticulous investigation and collection of technical evidence by the Mangalhat Police team, under the supervision of Sri G. Chandra Mohan, DCP, South West Zone. The accused are being produced before the Hon’ble Court for judicial remand.
In recognition of their swift detection and effective policing, Police Constables Lalith Kumar (31473) and Balraj (11181) were appreciated and rewarded for their commendable performance.
This successful operation highlights the commitment of Mangalhat Police to curb repeat offences and ensure the safety and confidence of the public.
