Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: A road safety awareness rally emphasizing the importance of wearing helmets and following traffic rules was organized on January 09, 2026, in Tirunelveli district with the participation of students from Scott Polytechnic College, Cheranmahadevi.
The rally, which commenced from the Cheranmahadevi bus stand, was flagged off by Deputy Superintendent of Police Aswath Anto Arokiyaraj. Police Inspectors Dharmaraj (Cheranmahadevi) and Jothilekshmi (Pathamadai), along with Scott Polytechnic College Principal J. Manimaran, took part in the event.
More than 100 students and social activists joined the rally, spreading awareness among the public on responsible road usage and helmet safety.
