Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh, June 30: In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, the Anakapalli District Police organized a grand farewell and felicitation ceremony at the District Police Office to honor police officers who have rendered decades of distinguished service.
The event was held under the supervision of District Superintendent of Police Shri Tuhin Sinha, IPS, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Retiring officers were felicitated with traditional saluwa shawls and mementos in recognition of their long-standing dedication and commitment to duty.
Among those honored were Elamanchili Rural Additional SI Nanepalli Satyanarayana, CCS SI Natti Satyanarayan, Anakapalli Traffic Additional SI Sheikh Rashid, RSI Sheikh Medina Valli, DR BASI G. Arjuna Rao, Paravada ASCYB Erru Naidu, and District Office Senior Assistant B. Varalakshmi.
Speaking at the event, SP Tuhin Sinha praised the retiring personnel for their unwavering service despite the challenges of a demanding profession. “Though the police job is stressful, your commitment, competence, and service for the protection of society are truly commendable,” he said. He acknowledged their significant contributions over approximately 35 years in various capacities across Anakapalli and Alluri Sitarama Raju districts.
Wishing them a happy and healthy retired life, SP Sinha assured the officers that the district police department would always stand by them for any support in the future.
The ceremony was attended by Additional SPs M. Deva Prasad, L. Mohan Rao, and A.O.A. Ram Kumar, along with Inspectors S. Lakshmanamurthy, Bendi Venkata Rao, S. Bala Surya Rao, T. Lakshmi, K. Appalanaidu, B. Ramakrishna, Esailu B. Suresh Babu, P. Ramesh, P. Kameswara Rao, S. Seshagiri Rao, other officers, staff, and family members of the retired personnel.
The event reflected the deep respect and camaraderie within the police force and celebrated the legacy of service left behind by the retiring officers.
