Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Island, October 10, 2025: The Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) — India’s only Tri-Service Command — celebrated its 25th Command Raising Day with great pride and patriotic fervour at Marina Park, Port Blair. Marking the silver jubilee occasion, a Gala Musical Evening was organized, featuring mesmerizing performances by the Tri-Service Band comprising personnel from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The event was graced by senior officers of the Command, service personnel, families, veterans, and distinguished guests from the civil administration. The evening began with a ceremonial welcome, followed by captivating renditions of martial and patriotic tunes symbolizing the unity, discipline, and spirit of the Indian Armed Forces.
Addressing the gathering, senior officers highlighted the Command’s significant role in ensuring India’s maritime security and strategic presence in the Indian Ocean Region. They commended the dedication and professionalism of all ranks in maintaining operational readiness, jointness, and excellence across the services.
The celebrations also featured traditional and cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage and harmony of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The event concluded with the National Anthem, evoking deep national pride and unity among all attendees.
As the Andaman and Nicobar Command marks its silver jubilee, it reaffirms its unwavering commitment to jointmanship, operational excellence, and the defence of the nation.
