Nizamabad: On 30-6-2022 at 3:30 PM Dial 100 responded promptly to a complaint received over phone. The four people Mr. Tejawat Suresh (30) of Dandigutta area under Rangel Police Station and his family Akhil (4) Nikhil (2) and Nitish (10 Months) who were trying to commit suicide by drinking insecticide due to family problems were saved from any loss of life by the police.
On the orders of Renjal SI Mr. Sayanna, Mr. R. Shankar, Constable and Mr. K. Shekhar Gowd, Home Guard together rescued them from suicide and rushed the persons to the PHC Center, where they were subsequently treated at Nizamabad General Hospital.
Nizamabad Police Commissioner Mr. K.R. Nagaraju, I.P.S., Garu presented rewards and appreciated Bodhan Rural CI Mr. G. Srinivas Raju, Rangel SI Mr. Sayanna, Mr. R. Shankar PC, Mr. K. Shekhar Goud, Home Guard.
On this occasion, Police Commissioner said that every staff should perform their duties with the same spirit.
Nizamabad Special Branch Inspector Mr. Srihari, Reserve Inspector Mr. Shailendhar and others were present on the occasion.
