Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu, July 5: In a heartfelt gesture of public service, the Ariyalur District Police, in collaboration with the District Government Hospital, organized a voluntary blood donation camp at the hospital’s blood bank.
Led by Superintendent of Police Dr. Deepak Sivach, I.P.S., and Ariyalur Medical College Principal Mr. Muthukrishnan, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel and Home Guards serving in the Ariyalur District Armed Forces.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sub-Division) Mr. Raghupathi presided over the camp, while Inspector Mr. Chandramohan of Ariyalur City Police and a team of doctors and medical experts supervised the donation process. Over 25 police officers and Home Guards came forward to donate blood, exemplifying the spirit of service and compassion.
All donors were honored with certificates of appreciation, reflecting gratitude for their contribution toward saving lives. The initiative stands as a shining example of the police force’s dedication not just to law and order, but also to humanitarian causes.
