Sribhumi, Assam: In a major success in the fight against narcotics, the Assam Police seized 44,000 Yaba tablets valued at approximately ₹6.5 crore and arrested five drug peddlers in the Veterbond area of Sribhumi district.
Acting on precise intelligence, the swift and well-coordinated operation led to the recovery of the narcotics and immediate apprehension of the accused.
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma applauded the Assam Police for their dedication and relentless efforts in curbing the drug menace, further reinforcing the state’s zero-tolerance policy against narcotics.
