Krishna: A 3 days capsule course was conducted for Personal Security Officers (PSO’s) engaged in security of VIP’s & VVIP’s by Additional SP at Krishna District Police Training Center.
To further enhance the skill and weapon knowledge of VIP’s and VVIP’s Personal Security Officers (PSO’s) and to be more vigilant in the security of important dignitaries, a 3 day refresher course was conducted under the direction of District SP Mr. P Joshua, District Additional SP and District Police at District Police Training Centre. Training Center Principal Mr. N. Venkata Ramanjaneyulu started it. The Additional SP said that it is the responsibility of the PSOs to provide protection to prominent people from danger, and you have the responsibility to protect them from any small danger, and to sense danger early and protect them. .
Through this course, apart from conducting exercise and yoga, the golden principles of VIP security will be explained, creating awareness about the main purpose of VIP security, obstacles during VIP security, measures to be taken during VIP travel. Similarly, maintaining good relations with the local police, how to collect local information from time to time, explaining what precautions to be taken while visiting various areas and traveling in public meetings, increasing knowledge on weapons and explosives and training to further improve their skills.
In addition, training will be provided on how to deal with anti-social forces when they break out, what kind of protection should be provided to the dignitaries who need to be provided security, the issues that have occurred in the security of the dignitaries in the recent past, and how to perform their duties to the fullest without allowing such incidents to occur. In addition, social media platform should be aware of the news related to the celebrities and if there is any danger, it should be realized early and provide strong security. Later, the Additional SP handed over the training kit and books to the PSOs who will undergo training for these three days.
