Madhya Pradesh, Chhatarpur: In a commendable initiative led by Superintendent of Police Shri Agam Jain, Chhatarpur Police successfully traced and returned 88 lost mobile phones to their rightful owners. The recovered phones, valued at approximately ₹12 lakhs, were returned during a special event held at the police conference hall.
Upon receiving multiple reports of missing mobile phones, SP Agam Jain promptly directed police stations to take swift action. Specialized training sessions on the use of technical portals for mobile tracking were organized for police personnel across the district.
With coordinated efforts between the Cyber Cell and various police station teams, the phones were traced from different districts and belonged to individuals from diverse backgrounds—including students, laborers, rickshaw pullers, NGO employees, farmers, and homemakers.
The mobile phone owners expressed heartfelt gratitude to the police for their prompt and honest efforts. This initiative reflects the growing efficiency and public-oriented approach of Chhatarpur Police in utilizing technology to serve the community.
