Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu: The Chief Minister’s Cup – 2025 sports competition was inaugurated on 26.08.2025 at the Seethakadhi Sethupathi Sports Ground, Ramanathapuram.
The event was graced by District Collector Simranjeet Singh Kalon, IAS, who formally launched the tournament in the presence of District Superintendent of Police G. Sandesh, IPS, and Ramanathapuram MLA Katharpatsa Muthuramalingam.
The tournament aims to encourage youth participation in sports, promote discipline, and nurture sporting talent across the district. Police officials emphasized that such events not only build physical fitness but also strengthen teamwork and community spirit among youngsters.
The Ramanathapuram Police assured continued support for initiatives that channel youth energy into sports, culture, and positive activities, reinforcing their commitment to community development along with law enforcement.
