Krishnagiri: When the police conducted a vehicle check near Ju Juwadi police check post in Hosur Chipgat police station area of Krishnagiri district, they stopped and searched a passing vehicle and found Gudka tobacco products worth Rs.3,14,976/- and foreign liquor prohibited by the Tamil Nadu government. The person who was smuggling Gutka products and foreign liquor was arrested and the Gutka goods, foreign liquor and the vehicle were seized from him and brought to the station and a case was registered and the accused was sent to court custody and imprisoned.
