Gomati: In a concerted effort to enhance community engagement and address pertinent issues, a joint initiative was undertaken by the Karbook Police, Civil Administration, and personnel from the Border Security Force (BSF). This collaborative effort took the form of a comprehensive prayaas meeting with the residents of Gurukhapa, Dulukcherri, and Chellakappa of Gomati District. The gathering, presided over by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Karbook, aimed to foster open dialogue and strategic discussions on various crucial aspects.

The primary focus of the meeting revolved around the concerning rise in crimes against property, emphasizing the need for collective vigilance and community awareness. Participants actively engaged in conversations pertaining to trans-border issues, recognizing the significance of collaboration between local authorities and the BSF to ensure the security and well-being of the community.

Furthermore, the meeting delved into the realm of cybercrime, acknowledging the evolving nature of criminal activities in the digital sphere. With the guidance of the SDM and SDPO, attendees were educated on the latest trends in cyber threats and the importance of adopting preventive measures. The interactive session allowed for the exchange of ideas, concerns, and suggestions, fostering a sense of shared responsibility among the villagers and law enforcement.

By bringing together the key stakeholders, including the police, civil administration, and Border Security Force personnel, the prayaas meeting served as a platform for proactive collaboration and community empowerment. The comprehensive discussions aimed not only to address immediate challenges but also to cultivate a sustainable framework for ongoing cooperation in the face of evolving security and crime dynamics.
