Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada City: Under the leadership of Police Commissioner S.V. Raja Shekhara Babu IPS, and Crime DCP, efforts have been intensified to curb crimes within the NTR Police Commissionerate. Crime ADCP, Mr. Tirumaleshwara Reddy, and CCS, led by Mr. M. Rajarao, along with inspectors and their teams, have raised public awareness on preventive measures to avoid burglaries in key areas of the city. They explained the Police Commissioner’s new alert system and highlighted the benefits of using services like Dial 100, 112, the LHMS app, and crucial city intersections. Police officers and personnel conducted foot patrols in high-risk areas.
In addition, they provided detailed information on cyber crime prevention, the NCRP portal, and how to become a well-informed cyber citizen using the Cyber Citizen app, equipping people with the knowledge needed to safeguard against cyber threats.
