Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: Demonstrating prompt investigation and commendable efficiency, the Ayakudi Police have successfully cracked a house burglary case and recovered 6 sovereigns (approximately 6 pounds) of stolen gold jewellery.
Following a complaint from Ramani Bas, a resident of Old Ayakudi near Palani, regarding a break-in at his home, Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Pradeep immediately directed swift action. Under the direct supervision of Palani DSP Dhananjayan and the leadership of Ayakudi Inspector Jyothimurugan, police teams thoroughly examined CCTV footage and pursued the case with determination.
Their efforts led to the arrest of Narutharaja, a habitual offender with over 10 previous cases against him in various stations, including Ayakudi. The police successfully recovered the entire stolen gold and have since produced the accused before the court, where he was remanded to judicial custody.
This prompt action by the Dindigul police showcases their unwavering commitment to public safety and crime prevention. The community has appreciated the quick resolution of the case and the recovery of the stolen property.
