Nalgonda: In the wake of the mass spread of the coronavirus, police officials are working under the auspices of the police department to create more awareness on COVID-19 among the rural people, said Nalgonda SP Mr. A.V. Ranganath IPS.

He was speaking at a meeting with police officers and staff, led by Additional SP Ms. Narmada IPS, at the district police office on Tuesday.  People who come in positive with symptoms such as cough, cold, and fever that the corona comes in two forms should definitely consult a doctor and seek treatment as per their instructions.  Taking antiviral drugs and steroids can increase the body’s immunity to get out of the corona, he said.  Those who get positive are advised to observe the changes taking place in their body and treat accordingly, and people with corona infection are advised to be extremely careful from the fifth day to the 12th day and follow the doctor’s instructions.  At the same time, many people are registering coronavirus without any actual symptoms, such as adhering to a home quarantine for at least 14 days and eating a diet that boosts the immune system.  It is time for the whole society to be one in this dire situation.  He suggested that police officers should work with local serpents to create awareness among the rural people in the wake of the coronavirus reaching the stage of mass outbreak, thereby protecting the people from further damage.  SP Mr. Ranganath IPS said that for the next two to three months, police personnel and people need to be more vigilant and fight the corona epidemic with the self-control by taking all sorts of precautions.
