Rachakonda: On 22.8.2022, on credible information the sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT), LB Nagar Zone and Balapur police busted a fake educational certificate racket and apprehended 6 accused persons at Cake King Bakery, Errakunta, Balapur. The instrumental persons for the above said illegal act are Kaleemuddin alias Kaleem and Muqtar Ahmed. The duo prepares fake certificates and provides to the college dropouts by collecting huge money. They had colluded with Md. Feroz, Md. Farooq Aziz and Md. Saroosh Ullah Khan and appointed them as commission agents and supplied fake educational certificates of Board of Intermediate, Delhi Board of Secondary and Higher Education, Bundelkhand and Andhra University Fake Certificates to needy students and gained easy money by illegal means. A case was registered at Balapur Police station, Rachakonda Police Commissionrtate.
The accused persons are: Mohd. Kaleemuddin alias Kaleem, S/o: Mohd Ahmed Moinuddin, R/o: Quba Colony, Bandlaguda, Chandrayangutta, absconding. Earlier he was involved in similar cases of Hyderabad City: Case registered in Chandrayangutta Police Station, and Abids Police Station.
Mugtar Ahmed(40) S/o. Safdar Ali, of Golconda, Hyderabad.
Md. Feroz(42) S/o. Basheer, resident of Hyderabad. (Commission Agent) Previously he was arrested in the case registered in Langer houze Police Station of Hyderabad City.
Md. Farooq Aziz(44) S/o. Abdul Khadeer, resident of Lakai-ka-pool
Md. Saroosh Ullah Khan(30) S/o. Md. Waheed Ullah Khan, resident of Hyderabad. (Commission Agent) 1Accused purchased fake educational certificates.
Md. Zubair Ali(25) S/o. Md. Mahamood Ali, Qualification: B.E., Discontinued (32 backlogs) Occ: Pvt. Job, R/o. Hussaini Alam, Hyderabad. He Purchased Bachelor’s Degree of Andhra University for Rs.75,000/. Syed. Athifuddin(25) S/o. Nizamuddin, Qualification: Intermediate. Occ: Pvt. Job, R/o. Malla Towers, Tolichowki, Hyderabad Purchased Board of Intermediate Certificate, Andhra Pradesh for Rs.1,00,000/-.
The Police seized the following fake educational certificates of various reputed Universities and other incriminating material from the possession of the accused persons:

Migration Certificates – (02), Board of Intermediate Certificates of Andhra Pradesh – (02), Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificate – (01), Delhi Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificates, Marks Statement- (01), Transfer cum Migration Certificate- (01), Bundelkhand University Certificate – (01), Letter of Recommendations of Various Universities-(30), Certifications of various Universities-(28), Certificates of The Catholic Co-op Urban Bank Ltd (4), Fake Experience Certificate of Health Point Pharmacy – (1), Fake Transfer Certificates – (08), Fake pay slips of Health 12.Toshiba Laptop-(01), Point Pharmacy – (3), Round Seal of Andhra University-(01), Green Pens-(02), Stamp Pad-(01), Pen Drives – (01), Fake ID cards-(03), Mobile Phones-(06), and One Bike.
The accused Kaleem is the main kingpin of this fake educational certificates preparation and distributing racket. He got friendship with Mugtar Ahmed, Md. Feroz. He motivated them to earn easy money by way of preparing and selling fake educational certificates to the college dropouts / needy persons and promised to pay good percentage on each certificate. Further, he had also provided training to Muqtar Ahmed about preparation of fake certificates, and also provided the required formats, images, etc., of reputed Universities. He maintained a chain of secrecy not to get exposed to each and every person as earlier he was arrested in 2 similar cases in Hyderabad City and he also advised Mugtar and Feroz to maintain the same secrecy and appoint different commission agents with promise of paying good amount for each certificate.
Likewise, Mugtar and Feroz developed contacts with different persons and appointed them as their agents, collected money from the agents and provided fake educational certificates according to their choice. Further Muqtar developed his skills in preparation of certificates, issued LORS, (Letter of Recommendations) and other supporting documents and maintained a database in his laptop. On 22.8.2022 on reliable information about the delivery of fake educational certificates, the SOT LB Nagar and Balapur police conducted a joint operation at Cake King Bakery, Errakunta, Balapur and apprehended Saroosh Ullah Khan, Zubair and Mohd. Athifuddin and seized fake educational certificates from their possession at their instance.
Later, on the lead given by Saroosh Ullah Khan, proceed to the house of the accused Farooq Aziz at AC Guards, Mehdipatnam and apprehended Farooq Aziz, Mohd. Feroz and Mugtar Ahmed in front of his house and seized fake educational certificates, Toshiba Laptop, Rubber seal etc., from their possession at their instance.
Efforts are afoot to apprehend the main culprit Kaleemuddin, identify the fake certificates holders and apprehend them.
Most of the students are getting the fake and forged educational certificates to get VISAs to go to Gulf Countries, USA/UK as well as to get placements in IT and Private sectors. All the unemployed youth are advised to be careful about bogus overseas/local consultants and not to indulge in getting fake certificates and do not the spoil their bright carrier.
