Fatehabad, Haryana, July 7: In a strong display of discipline, preparedness, and operational efficiency, a general parade and mock drill was organized today at the Police Line in Fatehabad under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS. The event aimed to strengthen law and order readiness, enhance emergency response capabilities, and assess the overall preparedness of the district police force.
SP Jain thoroughly inspected the parade, evaluating key aspects such as physical fitness, uniform standards, discipline, alertness, and confidence of the personnel. Addressing the officers, he emphasized that an efficient and responsible police force must be both physically fit and mentally alert to face any challenge.
Following the parade, a mock drill was conducted focusing on riot control and crowd management. Officers practiced:
- Use of modern crowd control techniques
- Restrained deployment of tear gas and non-lethal resources
- Effective use of protective shields
- Tactical response strategies under constitutional boundaries
The participating officers demonstrated excellent teamwork, decision-making, and rapid response. SP Jain conducted an immediate review post-drill and provided on-the-spot corrective guidance wherever necessary.
In addition, the SP carried out a surprise inspection of the police canteen, directing officials to ensure quality food items are provided, strictly prohibiting expired stock, and ensuring the well-being of police personnel and their families.
The event was also attended by DSP Ratia Shri Narsingh, other senior officers, and personnel who appreciated the SP’s commitment to operational excellence and welfare of the force.
