Fatehabad, Haryana, June 20: In a proactive public outreach initiative, the women personnel of Fatehabad Police, under the guidance of Inspector Manju Singh and as per the directions of Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, conducted a special awareness campaign across Fatehabad town.
The campaign focused on educating the public about key safety services, including the Dial 112 emergency helpline, Trip Monitoring System (TMS) for women’s safety, and precautions against cyber frauds. The women officers visited public places, marketplaces, and educational institutions to directly engage with citizens.
Citizens were informed that Dial 112 is a fast-response emergency number that connects people with police, ambulance, or fire services instantly. The team also highlighted the importance of the Trip Monitoring System, a digital initiative enabling women to share their travel details with the police, ensuring a safer journey—especially for women and children.
With the rise in cybercrime, the public was also cautioned against clicking on unknown links, responding to suspicious calls, or sharing personal banking information. Citizens were encouraged to report any cyber fraud immediately to the police.
This citizen-centric campaign by Fatehabad Police not only spreads awareness but also strengthens public trust in the efficiency and responsiveness of law enforcement.
