Hyderabad: Today on 28.7.2022, Mangalhat Police conducted a raid at the Takkerwadi area of Dhoolpet, Mangalhat, Hyderabad, and apprehended 4 persons mentioned above, while they are indulging in illegal gas refilling from domestic/commercial gas cylinders to mini cylinders at house premises, Takkerwadi, Mangalhat, Hyderabad. A case was registered under the Essential Commodities Act of Mangalhat Police Station, Hyderabad on 28.07.2022.
The accused persons were identified as Bidaniya Ravi(40), S/o Late Bidhaniya Ram Lal; Lashkari Akshay(24), S/o Narsingh; Bidhaniya Govind Singh(43), S/o B. Subash Singh; Pavan Singh(53), S/o.Shivalal Singh. All are residents of Takkerwadi, Dhoolpet, Mangalhat, Hyderabad.
The police seized Domestic cylinder-10, Commercial cylinders-27, Mini cylinders-78, Refillers-10, Weighing machine-1. The total 115 cylinders were seized from the possession of the accused persons.
The accused persons were taken into custody and the seized property is being handed over to Civil Supply Officials for taking further necessary action in the matter.
Further, it is to inform the general public that refilling Gas into small cylinders from gas cylinders is endangering Human Life & property and is also an offense under the Essential Commodities Act. If they came to know any information about the illegal Gas re-fillers within the limits of Mangalhat Police Station, please inform Mangalhat Police Station, Hyderabad.
The superior officers appreciated the good work done by Police Mangalhat for detecting the illegal gas refilling case and apprehension of the accused the seizure of property.
